Jim’s Smokin’ Que, a beloved North Georgia barbecue restaurant and local staple, came to us ready to unify their brand presence. Over the years, their reputation for quality, handcrafted BBQ had grown far beyond their Blairsville location - it was time to level up They needed a cohesive, modern brand system that could carry seamlessly across their restaurant, packaging, and online presence.
We began with a comprehensive brand audit, assessing everything from their existing logo and signage to product packaging and social media presence. The goal was to capture what customers already loved about Jim’s—its authenticity, Southern charm, and dedication to quality—and translate that into a unified, professional brand identity.
From there, we developed a complete Brand Guidelines Book, providing clear direction on logo usage, color palettes, typography, and visual tone. This toolkit ensures consistency across every touchpoint—whether it’s a sauce label, restaurant menu, or online promotion—allowing the brand to maintain its personality and recognition across platforms.
Next, we brought the refreshed identity to life with a custom Squarespace website designed to highlight Jim’s craft BBQ heritage. The site’s design blends rustic textures and bold, smoky tones with clean layouts and engaging visuals that showcase the food, the people, and the passion behind the brand. From online store integration to location info and catering inquiries, every detail was built with functionality and user experience in mind.
